Shalom!
Well everyone, I have some great news to share. Apparently God decided to answer our prayers about my Ulcerative Colitis.
A few weeks ago, I decided to go to the chiropractor for some lower back pain that I have been having for years, in fact, it started just a few months before my symptoms of UC. I found out today that a few of my vertebras have mild scoliosis. Consequently, two of my vertebras are compromising the passage way for a bundle of nerves that branches from my spinal cord. That bundle of nerves just so happens to be the autonomous nerves for my colon (autonomous nerves are the ones that your brain sends signals to automatically, i.e. your heart beat, breathing, digestion). My brain could very well be perceiving that my colon is in trouble and sending a cavalry of Killer T-cells to help.
This seems like too big of a coincidence to not be linked to my UC, but I will keep everyone posted on health improvements as the chiropractor fixes by back.
Thank you all so much for your prayers. This really is an amazing display of God's grace and the power of prayer.
Keep praying.
Shalom,
~Samuel T
